The Charity

Founded in 2008, the Temple Garden Foundation (TGF) partners with rural communities in Cambodia to provide the resources and support needed to sustainably build livelihoods.

TGF’s Mission

TGF’s activities have developed alongside the needs of the rural communities in four key areas:

88% of households

have access to working latrines. This is double the national average of 40% of Cambodian households with access to the same.

40,000+ people

have sustainable access to improved water sources.

83% reduction

in waterborne disease cases since 2012.

10,000+ children

reached by our education programming.

71% reduction

in child malnutrition since 2011.

250% increase in member-incomes

since the establishment of Savings Groups, a sustainable micro-finance alternative.

The Cambodia Run Challenge is a cross-country ultramarathon aimed at raising awareness of poverty in Cambodia.

All funds collected go to Temple Garden Foundation, a charity which creates concrete, sustainable change for impoverished rural communities in Cambodia.
