Born in Scotland, he moved to Asia in 2008
Former professional cricket player for Hong Kong and Scotland
Veteran of ultra-marathons (Past feats include the 78km Hong Kong Raleigh Challenge and 100km Oxfam Trailwalker)

Alex Reinert
Seasoned Triathelete
Three-time Ironman World Championship participant, finishing second for his age group in 2016
Also conquered the Gobi 250km, Atacama 250km and the Hong Kong Cold Standard
Global nomad who has lived in Europe, the UK and Asia

Avid Swimmer, Budding Runner
Long-term Hong Kong resident since 1997
Keen long distance open water swimmer and all round sporting generalist
Has never run more than 10km until early 2019 so he's entering uncharted territory!

Matt Pocock
Matt is originally from the UK and grew up in London. In 2008 he moved to Hong Kong and now works for LinkedIn. After running the London Marathon for charity in 2007 Matt caught the “running bug”, and ran his first ultramarathon in 2011.
Matt has completed races of various lengths all over the globe, and his personal highlights have been the HK100, The 250km Gobi March and The Nepal Action Asia 100km.

Matt is originally from the UK and grew up in London. In 2008 he moved to Hong Kong and now works for LinkedIn. After running the London Marathon for charity in 2007 Matt caught the “running bug”, and ran his first ultramarathon in 2011.

Juggling work, family life and ultramarathon training is always tough, but Matt tries to fit in as much as possible within the antisocial hours to maximise time with his wife Kirsty and two daughters Chloe and Bella.
