Meet The Runners

Julien Monguillot
Julien, originally from France, has lived in Hong Kong since 2005. An avid adventurer and backcountry skier, he completed a self-supported two-week trek through Mustang in the Northern Himalayas of Nepal. He recently finished the 70km 6000D Ultra Trail in the French Alps. Keen to contribute and get involved with the Temple Garden Foundation, Julien is starting by raising awareness and funds through the 2025 Cambodia Run.
Alex Wilton
Originally from the UK, Alex has lived across the US and Asia for much of his adult life. A lifelong sports enthusiast with a particular love for tennis, his current fitness ambitions lean more “work in progress” than “professional athlete.” Proud dad to 3.5-year-old Archie, he’s both daunted and excited by the 110km challenge, but determined to see it through in support of Temple Garden Foundation’s practical, community-focused work in Cambodia.
Mark Ferguson
Cambodia Run Challenge Co-Founder
Mark, originally from Scotland, moved to Asia in 2008. Before focusing on running, he played professional club cricket and represented both Scotland and Hong Kong. Now an ultramarathon veteran, Mark’s notable achievements include the 78km Hong Kong Raleigh Challenge and the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker.
